I have an 06 National Sea Breeze Norcold 1200 LRIM fridge and had the cooling unit replaced and I was told the dc cooling fans don't work! They took them off and tested to a battery and both were dead...

They are nothing but 12V computer fan. While out run a pair of wires from the snap temp switch that turns the fans on automatically so you can turn them on manually. I would put three back instead of just two.
