Wired backwards and you will still hear them/ I have worked on hundreds of 1200's over the years and have never seen the fans wired backwards. The age of your RV is about the time that the fans will fail. You have to pull the refer to do any diagnostics on the fan system. IF it is determined that the fans are bad, replace both AND the Fan tstat. The tstat also fails after more than 5 years. If it is determined that the tstat is bad and fans run, REPLACE the fans also, as you have already pulled the refer to check the system. Doug
