number of batteries in dutch star
Can anyone tell me how many batteries are needed for my 1994 class a dutch star bynewmar there are 5 spots 3 under the hood and 2 by the generator. I have solar panels and am trying to figure things...

If the solar panel is Newmar installed. You will have a Dash indicator that is round with a red led light when charging. THAT solar panel is just to maintain the chassis battery when stored, nothing else. It is mounted above the drivers seat area on the roof and is about 12 inches square. IF you have other solar panels on the roof, they are NOT Newmar installed equipment. Doug
