Onan 5500 Starts then stops after releasing button

Thank you Chuck i have not been able to find the voltage regulator under the closet there is three 6 gauge wires that have been cut i don't know what they use to go to haven't traced were there coming from yet

i have only found the relay under the kitchen table bench behind the fuse and breaker panel
