Onan 5500 Starts then stops after releasing button

Along with the above posts about ac not being available, I concur. When mine was affected it was the 1 brush was hung in the holder away from armature so cleaner didn't work. Clean the armature and if you do replace brushes, be very CAREFULL! Do not drop the screws JMHO, good luck!
