Well i found some hex head screw thingy's and managed to get from all complete to all in pieces
trying to remember the ohms testing for the generators and stators the two wires that go from the generator to the fuse blocks show continuity to ground, i wanted to pull the generator apart though i didn't know my little brother didn't have a harmonic balancer wheel puller "$20.00 at sears" so i am stuck staring at the pieces setting on the garage floor. LOL
i found a Cummings troubleshooting guide i am suspecting a short in the winding's or wires going to the winding's though it is probable the remote switch shorting out the kill side or stuck
Isn't the two wires cumming from gen to the breaker not supposed to have continuity with ground, After all i would just assume "ass u and me" take all apart fix and replace worn broken and almost worn parts here at the comfort of home rather than be in the desert and have to work in the dirt. "lol"
whats a days wait for a puller its only Monday new fuel pump and generator belt

I have spare battery that i could make a bench test hell i probable could make one any way
