Oregon RV site Ownership

We are newly retired and looking for RV park in Oregon to purchase site for summer/fall living. Can you recommend nicer parks that sell sites? Currently only familiar with Pacific Shores in Newport, just stayed there in September, 2014, but seems windy and possibly too close to salty sea air. It is surely of the quality we are looking for though.

    I'm curious why you are buying a site.

    I see them for sale occasionally but never really understood why a person would purchase one.

    Is there a tax advantage or something like that?

    Thanks for the feedback! Looks nice. I was looking for something a bit inland, Portland or Eugene possibly.

    Sea Perch RV Resort has sites and cabins for sale, right on the Pacific Ocean. We have stayed there a number of times overlooking the beach and ocean and it is truly magnificent. Like anywhere else on the Oregon coast it can get windy. Here is a link:Sea Perch
