All you are doing is bashing. You have not provided any information on the fee breakdown, etc. If you really think it is out of line, then check with the DMV. Maybe they calculated on an incorrect purchase price. But you'd rather just whine about the politics.

It has nothing to do with being fashionable. It has to do with a failed ideology that is infected half of the population of this country and wherever they hold complete power is a disaster.

If not mistaken, NV is about 2% of purchase price/value and AZ is about 1.85%. When I moved to AZ four years ago my registration fees almost doubled. I know it's fashionable for some of you in this forum to bash CA every time you have a chance, but unless registration fees have gone up considerably in the last four years, CA's fees are lower than in some other states.

It was the trend 15 years or so ago that many california residents lived there until retirement then moved out. Is that still the trend?
