Pack Rats

We are planning to volunteer this summer in Libby, MT. The ranger advised they can have a problem with pack rats. We spent last summer in Idaho and caught 27 mice over the summer.
Anyone had successful experience keeping pack rats out of your coach? I am thinking of putting an LED strobe in the engine compartment.

    When we visited my sister in Tucson we used urinal cakes placed in small plastic trays. We placed them under the hood of the truck and under the trailer as well as on top of the tires. We were never bothered by the critters and we could see their dens everywhere. They sure can cause a lot of damage. Good luck.
