Sounds like minor league stuff to me.
When your diesel engine has had near $40K in warranty work done to it over its almost 4 years in service, (17K in last three months) get back to me.
I would take little stuff like a screw falling out or a drawer coming open any day after being repeatedly stuck on the side of the road or limping to dealers all the time at 20 MPH.
Count your blessings my friend.
Sounds like I have the opposite problem you do. Coach body itself is top quality, but the engine is unreliable. It is hard to get that perfect package.
Sorry to read about all your issues, I feel your pain. I think the Freight liner chassis and Cummins is a great combination. This has been proven in many RV's and trucks for years. But yes, our situation is reversed. But it sounds like you have gotten most of those issues worked out. The Caterpillar should be a strong work horse of a power plant! I am not complaining because I don't like the Palazzo. In fact, we did compare it to the Fleetwood and others. For us, the floor plan and features, options/price point just worked. So don't get me wrong, we just want these issues fixed so we can pull into the campground and brag about it instead of complain. Thor, are you reading this? For those who say "well U should have PDI'ed before you paid." Well, to a certain extent we did. The Hot water issue was addressed that day. In fact, I watched the service tech replace the entire valve and water connection assembly. The hot water worked fine. It also worked again at home It did not stop working again until after we drove to the CG. Personally I think it is simply a hose getting kinked somewhere and will be an easy fix. I looked for it and could not find it. I'm afraid it is behind the water heater and not accessible unless the water heater is completely removed. Every situation is different.
