I'm not an electrician, did study it once. Correct me if I'm wrong, but testing with a VOM, then reading the display on the portable EMS, should have different readings. The VOM simply measures voltage "at rest" so-to-speak, the EMS is testing voltage under load. Is that right? It's been about 50 years since I took those classes.
