Patio mat

We use one every time, and haven't encountered any campground that says you can't use them.

It catches sand and dirt so we aren't tracking that into the RV, drains quickly when it is raining, and best of all, my chair legs and my feet stay out of the mud. Our mat is easy to fold and put away, and our six-year-old grandkid can unfold it and drag it to the right place.


We like it, but you may be happier without one.

You can't be one of us until you own one....:C

Just fold it up, takes just a sec. I have a couple of giant plastic tubs in my passthrough bay, one is for my mats, keeps everything contained.
And my bays are not carpeted, so I can just hose em out if they get dirty.

When it's wet out is when it does the most good. Once the mud was so thick the mat was floating on it! without the matt, all that woulda been inside our RV!

We just fold it up and store it in the basement. When possible, hang it over a fence and hose it until it's clean.

Well Jim, you have me sold ME on not getting one! LOL! Really, a big ole wet muddy carpet in my nice clean carpet-lined bay? I don't think I would like that.

They're really not all that bad, the woven plastic dries very quickly and doesn't mould as such. Even when it's raining I find it keeps dirt/mud from tracking into the coach. Mine folds up like an accordion (parachute fold) and fits neatly in a bay (even when wet :B)

Get the kind made out of the material used for sunscreens on the MH. They don't kill grass and they dry immediately and are lightweight You can roll them up. Some campgrounds don't allow the woven plastic ones and they are hard to fold.

We use this mat patio mat really like having the storage bag. Have the same in 9 x 12 as well.Both together cover 30 of 38 feet.

Used a 9 x 12 plastic woven mat for 14yr and just had to finally throw it away last month. Had started coming apart.
won that one at a Sunnybrook rally in Michigan in 1999 donated by Camping World. I will probably replace it soon with one from Walmart.
What ever quality it is it will last as long as I will.
