Visiting the Arizona memorial is a truly moving experience. We visited a few times while I was stationed at Hickam AFB '97-'99. I also got to see the Missouri towed into Pearl Harbor--which was quite a sight to see.
While stationed at Hill AFB in Utah '99-'01, I had the privilege to dine with the surviving members of the Doolittle raid . They were the first group to strike back at Japan after Pearl Harbor. Now they were real heroes, as were your relatives who served in WWII! My hat is off to all of them.
