IMHO you will be fine as long as you never let the heat get ahead of you.
Once it gets ahead in come the slides and wait for night to catch back up.
An autotransformer might be a good investment I have stayed in 3 different CG in and around Phoenix and all had low power from 2PM to 8PM.
