- Thunder_MountaiExplorer IIIf you can spend a couple of nights at the dealership or campground very close. Just use all the systems. Play like you are dry camping. Run the generator, inverters, fresh water pump, etc.
Then plan a possible return of the unit to the dealer for 30 to 90 days for warranty work. Not trying to be a butthead. Notice I said "plan". Hopefully you will get lucky and have a unit you can use out of the box. I did. Be reasonable with your check list. Fix the small things you can even if it costs you a few dollars. You'll probably do a better job than the techs at the dealer. - Pass42ExplorerCheck tire date codes for age. Check belts & hoses.
