Royal Triumph
Majestic
If I recall the F450 4x4 was around $130K. Fresh ~30 gal.
Can also be built on the F550 chassis. RobertRyan wrote:

There used to be "mini Cs" built on Toyota and Nissan chassis. I think there were a few built on the old Dodge Dakota as well. Now with the trend in US market small trucks toward luxury rather than utility I doubt we will see those come back.- RobertRyanExplorer

In the beginning of RVs in the US there were many chassis mounted campers like shown. 10,12,16,18 on up to 25 foot models were made by many of the 1950 through 70's RV manufacturers. As with most other things in the US, the buying public wanted bigger light trucks did not have tha capabilty to handle the weight so commercial truck chassis or special built motorhome chassis were used. Sizes grew up to 45 feet with 35 to 40 being the most prevalent.
Now that the economy is suffering, gas prices are up and the new environmental concerns...smaller RVs are in fashion again. You will see some based on light trucks but most are based on vans especially the new generation Ford, Dodge and Mercedes.

I dont believe any one does any more. At least not mass produced. Last ones I remember seeing were Chevrolet Kodiak based. And they were 4X2's. Earth Roamers are loosely pickup based. But they are expensive and built to order.
Do have.a few here who build on the 3 litre diesel pickups. Base cheap enough, Motorhome as big as a largish TC - jules6ExplorerTiger Adventures
