Sam Spade.......what alignment are you referring to? Not to hijack thread, but I too, as the OP, just purchased a 2005 31' Class C and it pulls heavy to RIGHT when big rigs pass me. Perhaps this will will assist OP and me
Thanks
What I was talking about only affects E350 and 450 chassis.
You have a high profile "truck". It catches a lot of cross wind. Nothing you can to to stop that. That includes getting used to the effect caused by a passing truck.....which is most pronounced when being passed from behind usually. You just have to learn to deal with that and about half of it is not over-reacting.
The alignment "defect" will cause it to wander when going down a perfectly flat road with no side wind. IIRC the fix cost me about $300 and worth every penny....but the first place I went to wanted to completely rebuild the front end to the tune of about $1K.
OK now I'm embarrassed. I thought I saved a link to one of the previous discussions about this but now I can't find it. I think the key word was "camber". Hopefully someone else has it handy. - JerseydevilExplorer

Similar to what I bought.
Mine needed tires right off.
And a modification to the alignment to stop it wandering when it shouldn't.
And various other small stuff like a battery solenoid.
Regardless of how good you think it is there will be "stuff".
I paid $500 for an inspection but they missed some things and tried to fleece me for some other stuff. SIGH.
If the batteries are over 5 years old it will probably need batteries too.
Oh....and ask to see the generator started COLD and run a bit.
Mine had the carb cleaned twice and needed a new carb.
Are you buying from a dealer ??
Not from dealer, personal sale. Was thinking of paying for inspection, but not sure if its worth it. - JerseydevilExplorerThanks all for feedback.
Tires just replaced.
Check thoroughly for signs of leaks and did not see anything.
Seemed to be well maintained with seal and caulking.
Alignment seems good. Got it up to 65 with no pulling.
I was thinking about paying a mechanic to get a 2nd look on it.
Engine and trans ran smooth, did not see any leaks below.
A/C blew cold from roof and dash. Generator started up cold.
From what I saw it will need an awning soon and a couple of hub cabs. - Snowman9000ExplorerMove anything you can in the upper bunk area to inspect for signs of leakage. This is the big area of concern in Class C's. A very high percentage of them seem to leak there after some time. If you see anything suspicious, run.
- Baja_ManExplorerJersey....as others have stated....
1. Check tire date code...if over 5 years old, REPLACE.
2. Run genny and be sure to put a load on it (run AC, Micro, etc).
3. Be sure house AC gets COLD and all vents operate.
4. Have refer turned ON 24 hours prior to your inspection so you can be sure it is working.
5. Check dash AC and be sure it gets cold
6. Batteries as stated
7. Check holding tanks and be sure they are not leaking. Fill each tank and inspect for leaks - Baja_ManExplorerSam Spade.......what alignment are you referring to? Check the age of the tires, not just the tread. RV tires usually age out before they wear out.
