- Toxed2lossExplorer@ John&Joey, Are you asking kax, or asking me about the possibility of toxic molds in a purchase like kax made?
PS, I also appreciated the pics. Thanks for sharing those. - John_JoeyExplorer

So what is your feelings on mold? Are you good with that since it's natural vs chemical?
Most older (not well maintained) RV's seem to be full of it once you start pulling apart stuff. Even just in the bottom of the window wells of new ones you'll find the stuff. - D_J_WadeExplorerYes, thanks John&Joey for the pics, that's very helpful to me as well.

- GeocritterExplorerJohn&Joey, Thanks for posting the above information. I've already cut & pasted the various photos in my information file. BTW you have a beautiful RV except for the grill it looks very similar to my 1994 HR.
BTW You're spot on about the caliper slide pins. I learned about them via my TPMS system and an overheating brake.
Steve - John_JoeyExplorerHere's a few things you may want to keep handy (assuming you have a F53.) We had a '96 Cruise Master that served us well. Keep an eye on the parking brake oil level and also keep the slide pins on the calipers greased.

well, you got me guessing with a statement like that. Where are your sources for 15 years to outgas? That seems like a far stretch
Its not a far stretch at all. For those of us that have to deal with these things it is a known fact. It is my wife in my case and part of the reason I also have an older coach and have removed the gas refer and gas stove. Her case is less not as bad as the original poster but our research agrees with his. - XpltivdletdExplorer

Does this model have metal framing(roof/walls)?
Thanks in advance
I might be mistaken, but I had it that the change-over from wood to metal was a middle-70s thing for the industry. You might do some Internet Searches on the manufacturer & see. In general, those who survived enough "Fundamental-Changes" to change to metal framing were proud of that & advertised it well, back in the day.
If other sources have fallen into the Search-engines' Black Hole, there are collectors of old MH brochures, manuals & advertisements. Hope some of this is helpful and I wish you success. Best regards. - turbojimmyExplorerWow this one went off the rails quick.
Original question can be answered, as someone else said, but taking down some trim around the roof vents or other protrusions through the roof.
My Allegro is all aluminum framed, 12" on center. The roof supports 250 lbs. per square foot. And at 31-years old I'm glad to find that it's off-gassed twice now. - Toxed2lossExplorerMowermech, edited...never minding.
