When I want to do this I retract the jacks first. Then lower the front jack to raise the front of the coach. I do this as I don't want to place any undue stress on the rear jack brackets. If the rear jacks are down and you raise the front of the coach it causes some amount of front to back twist on the rear jacks. They are not resigned to twist front to back. There might be a better/faster method but I'm afraid of bending a jack bracket.
