Power Gear Leveling System

Well, we spent the winter in Mission, TX. Had a great time. Packed up the MH, headed home. Stopped the first night and could not get the leveling system to work. Quick check, power was good. Added a little more oil, since the jacks was up, but the oil was not on the dip stick. Still NG. Wait until I get home!!
At home now. Test the system out, power to the motor, even hot wire the solenoid, still NG. Check out grounds. Ok. Pulled the motor apart found the inside rusty and some spring on the magnetic coil all rusted.
Question is Power Gear and HWH the Same company? The pump assembly is marked Power Gear and the control panel is marked HWH?
Anyone know where I can get a motor for the Power Gear Assembly? Thanks Gary

  • For now, thanks for all replies. I have the motor coming should be here tomorrow. IF all goes right the leveling system should be running in a few day, if the weather works with me. I am in the my yard on the parking pad. Just want to level it off and put the weight on the jacks. Thanks

Many folks refer to all forms of oily fluid as OIL, That includes Motor oil, Tri-Flo, Light machine oil, Bearing oil, Gear oil, Bar & Chain oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, hydraulic oil and many other forms of oil.

I used to be one of them.

Yes, sometimes to save time and typing, we cut things short thinking that someone know what you mean and that can sometimes make it needed to clarify things later.

Hopefully you are not really using oil to fill the tank, the system requires Tranny fluid.

I used the correct type of oil.

  • I found a place that has the motor I need. Seems like a good price. Thanks all for your help

Thanks, I was not sure on if the two was one and the same or if it was a buy out. My pump system if Power Gear and the Leveling Control system is HWH. And I could not get things to match up with numbers. Guess I have to try and work with just Power Gear.
