Power levelers question

We are looking at purchasing a new class C and are wondering about power levelers.
Upon researching online, I see there are electric and hydraulic.
Are these power levelers worth the extra money, and are they reliable?
Also, do these devices actually handle the weight of an rv, or are they just stabilizers?
Any experiences would be greatfully appreciated. I'm not as young as I used to be and have a bad back to boot so I'm thinking if these things work it just might make my RVing life easier...
Thanks
Steve

WE purchased the 22' C with out levelers and installed sizor jacks in the rear just for stability, and one automotive jack under the frame by the steps this one I have to crawl under, place and cranck, if you can aford the auto levelling jacks go for them, have found that as I grow older I have a harder time bending to crank the jack, I now use 3/4" socket an extention a rachet addapter and a 3' long handled bar to crank the dam things.

    What he said.
  • With power levelers you have one less thing to mess with in the rain, in the dark, in the heat, no more getting out boards, driving up on them, changing them and trying it again, etc. You just press a button while sitting inside. Buy them if you can afford them.
