Propane tank certification? 2003 Thor told must be nspected

Filled up today at Southern States in VA and first time guy stated my tank was out-of-date and needed to be certified to include new gauge, nozzle, and something else. Thought I read on this board a y...

Found several sites with rules which clearly show Motorhomes do NOT need this certification (printed it off and keeping in my RV for next time). Also, sent a copy over to the Southern States folks :)
