the converter charger (run via the generator or shore power) will create 12vdc & there for power the fridge (and any other 12v dc appliance or light).
This is true for a LOT of RV's. BUT, you never want to run your RV on Converter ONLY. Always leave the coach batteries connected. Your power converter will work better and last longer with the batteries connected. A LOT of Converters need the battery to help keep the line voltage constant. Doug
