Putting in a window

I am about to purchase a 2001 jamboree 26f and everything about the interior layout is great Except there is no window over the sink/galley area, and its somewhat dark in that area. I've only inquired a little bit about it, but would it be possible/hard to put a small window in a area that doesn't have one on an RV.
Thanks

  • For what it is worth, I just replaced a large window over our dinette table, while I had the window out I looked up into the wall to the ceiling and down into the wall to the floor, there was nothing in that large 4 foot wide space. I don't think they run much in the walls, mostly over the ceiling and under the floor. You will need to find the "studs" or whatever framing they used. GL
  • That was in relation to my question, not sure how you would know that unless you talked directly to the
manufacturer ( which I'm sure they would talk me out of doing it) or maybe used some sort of wall sensor.
    I'm talking maybe 2x2 or 2x3 max.
  • Any way to see if there is anything in that wall in the area of the proposed window? The windows are fairly straight forward as far as the installation goes.
