putting out slides when slightly not level...

Former 5er owner... We had no issues putting out the slides just about anytime... Of course, we didn't do it if we were really off level.
Now the motorhome has dire warnings about being level before depoying the slides.
Sometimes, it just isn't possible to be completely level.
Is it that big a deal?

    There were many occasions that I had to live with "sightly off level" for a weekend. While I make every attempt to be as level as possible, sometime it can't be avoided. So far, I haven't had any issues with slides or any other components when being slightly off level. I guess the question would be one persons idea of "slightly off level" verses someone elses idea of the same.

    We have put ours out when slighly off level (seems to be most times) and so far, no problems. We avoid lifting any tires off the surface. If we are that far off level we ask for another site.
