- n7bsnExplorerI have seen posts from people that love them, and people that hate them. All in all I think more "hate" then any other brand. Problems include bricking (it's dead Jim), freezing, and crashing.
The Garmin Dezi's (trucking GPSs) have an RV mode, but it does not include POI files for RV things, campgrounds and dump stations (but there are sources for those, like POI Factory).
Personally I have been very disappointed with the dump station POI files I've seen, also with the on-line places. Between accuracy (location and status), it hasn't been good. SaniDumps.com is one of the better, but often they give the center of a small town, rather then the actual location of the dump station. Only they don't offer a POI file. So I'm building a dump-station POI for the states I travel in. Google Earth/Map is amazing sometimes. Actually looking at the Dumpstation from the street view is a great verify it exists and is located where you think it is. - The_TexanExplorerBought one in Boise, used it for one trip to San Antonio and sold it on Craigslist in San Antonio. It was not user friendly, wrong about 25%-30% of the time and not even close to being in the same league with Garmin or Tom Tom. Bought a Garmin for the return trip and it worked flawlessly, without one wrong direction.
- GWKExplorerI read bad things on here about this unit but bought it anyway. So far we have used it for one trip (2,400 mi) and are happy with it.
