Replied to this thread EARLY on and wanted to let everyone know - our 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta purchased from El Monte RV in Santa Fe Springs Ca. is still going strong and serving us well. We bought it in 2013 with 72K miles. It now has 93K and we have repaired/replaced the following:
Breaker for microwave - ourselves - me to be specific
2 house batteries
Tires just in January
New roof coating in January
Fuel pump on generator - Son installed
Starter - Son installed
Rear bushings - Son installed
Resurfaced and painted entry steps, including new slip guard strips - me
Engine battery in 2018
4 of the gas door shocks/lifters - me
Numerous drawer latches inside - me
Numerous cargo door outside latches - me
Removed behemoth old RCA TV and turned the gaping hole into a storage area (ok hubs helped get the TV out). Added insulated board to keep it cooler, and a cute homemade curtain with tension rods.
Lengthened the outdoor shower hose and created an easy up/tarp enclosure that can be stowed. Granddaughters prefer privacy when showering at the beach.- me
Did a work-around via phone with an RV tech on water heater on a Friday afternoon at 5 PM. Thanks El Cajon guy! - me
Replaced cracked fridge handle - me
Replaced kitchen faucet - me and hubs
Changed out all lights inside to LED - me
Cleaned and re-aligned stove burner starters - me
Added rain gutter spouts - Me and bro-in-law
Removed upholstered kick-panel under couch so I could add baskets for storage of games and cards etc.
Shes in really good shape and we hope to have her another 25 years!
