Yes, i used one of the same screws that I used on the carpet plus a medium size washer. Screwed the seal directly over the old seal. Only did it in 3 places or so. Tightened it enough to where the washer and head went just below the level of the seal.
It has a crease in the middle which helps the seal.
I think that I actually used a little spray adhesive also.
The seal does overlap onto the carpet a little.
This is ok because it is so thick.
I was originally going to trim the gdoor seal to be narrower, which could be done.
