If I had a bad GFI there should be power on the leads behind it when pulled from the wall and tested no power. It just seems some place between the GFI closest to panel and and breaker I have a problem, plus I'am thinking more that controler in inverter that regulates the voltage is not working right so it is putting out the 144 volts.Just a guess on my part.
