Tried to explain to her if onboard gen would not start we may need to generate electricity by other means. I think my bruises will heal by March I should get out of hospital by News Years.

Here is my method. You shop for the item you want to get a baseline price. In this example a generator. You find an ad for a generator that cost 2x the cost of the one you want. You Tell your wife that you have bad news that your current generator is getting old and you will need a backup generator. You show her the ad for the overpriced generator. You wait about a week and you buy the generator you really want. You tell you wife you have good news, that you found a generator for half price. You wanted to tell her first but they only had one and you did not want to miss out on the great price.
