I agree. While the fundamentals are similar the application difference between parent bore and wet sleeve engines is large. Things don't just upscale. At some point money factors in, too. Makes no sense to get .5mpg more if it take a gallon of propane. The single biggest difference maker is how skilled the driver is.
Couldn't agree more ! If these guys could increase mileage by 25% they'd be MILLIONAIRES !
I installed a GearVendor Dbl Overdrive on my f350 6.0L and was about to increase my mpg about 15-20%....but it cost me over 3k for the dbl overdrive & it netted next to nothing around town....AND you CANT tow with it engaged.
