We have owned two pop up campers, a travel trailer, a Class C, and currently a TC. If I were to get a motor home again, it would be a Class C with a cab over bed. We are travelers more than campers--for us the only notable benefit a Class A has over a Class C is occupants not in the driver and copilot seats have a better forward view.
If you are considering Thor products, check out the Chateau 26A / Four Winds 26A twins. They shoehorned a dinette, sofa bed, dry bath, and walk-around RV queen bed into a 27’0” length (Ford). Tank capacities are fresh 40, gray 26, and black 26. The queen bed is in a slide out. Here, the bed’s platform is fixed and the mattress is what slides. The foot of the mattress flips up to reduce the slide’s length of travel which allows placement of a nice sized bath in the left rear corner. There is a large exterior storage compartment under the rear bed and heat pads for the holding tanks are an option.
Good luck with your research!
