all your favs look good. i think 'small as possible' is a mantra for casual from time-to-time use, and no toad makes a short rig more similar to a car/van. you will find yourself and perhaps your wife more energetic when deciding whether to take it out.
10 yrs back the floorplan below was everywhere on Cs and B+s like chinook, born free, tl, gulfstream, etc. after 6 YEARS of researching all things small, we got one. it offers two room functionality along lines of most motel rooms. born free even had had two reclining (hospital-like} beds that were nice and easy to switch from day to nite use. a take down hallway pedestal table was used to eat. no slide and PC could get you into a very short, narrow, low height remake.
on storage, we have way more than we need, even on long trips with up to 4 dogs.
