phil, i knew those PC dimensions as well as their narrowness...i only meant that PC dimensions are the target to meet or beat on the way to a rising of the Rialta from the ashes - a Phoenix Rialta on a Ducato.
i am definitely not putting down traditional cabover bed, wide, often long Cs at all. i have come to really appreciate what a C offers as well as the people who are attracted to them. it just happens that for me, our mutts, and martha (sole and now experienced driver), the smaller and more nimble MH is a better fit.
for anyone wondering why, with 24' sprinter dually hi-top vans like the winnie era out there, we could use a re-issue of the diminutive front-drive Rialta of the early 2000s: certainly lower price is a plus; so is wider and higher interior space; and compared to boxy vans, more attractive curved outer body styles like the '70s GMC, Coachouse, Rialta, and those hot LTV B+s.
the nicely priced dodge promaster can open up a segment between LTV and sprinter van lookers with smaller budgets.
