replacing a/c heatpump

They are not repairable for any part of the sealed system because the cost is too high versus replacement of the upper unit. Under warranty, Dometic and RVP replace the complete upper unit if the compressor or the sealed system fails and leaks. You CAN find someone to replace the parts but it will cost more than it is worth. I can replace compressors and such but if it was MINE, I would replace the upper unit(not worth my time and money to do). You have a Brisk Air model and what kind of wall tstat do you have? That will determine if you need an upgrade control kit in addition to the upper unit. Doug
