All pivot points on these steps should be lubed at least every three months. If you don't do that you are asking for failure. Kwikee recommends their KwikLube. I have also heard that motorcycle chain lube works well. You want something that goes on wet then dries to a thick gel. Don't lose the spray straw as you need precise control of the spray. I have used the KwikLube on both our MHs and not had a failure....yet!
