Anyone ever done the job in their driveway?

    mfox did you use Ray's?

I used Fort Worth Champion Spring in downtown Fort Worth. I have used them on 2 Class A's with good results for spring work, front end alignment and they did the labor on my shock replacement.

    What did it cost?

It was about 700.00 for the spring work on each motorhome. Really made a handling difference when you took out the lean. Was worth the effort.

And you kinda have to know what is causing the lean. Older 94 was leaning hard right on the front but it turned out to be a weak rear spring. Current one was leaning on front and rear right side and was also just a weak rear causing the problem.
  • I did mine myself removed the old spring had it re-arched and a leaf added to ensure it did not sag again. Keep in mind after you reinstall the spring and have everything tight drive the coach about 10 miles over some less then smooth road and then go back in and tighten all the bolts again.
