Adding castor makes the rig go straight at 63mph. The Safe-T-Plus reduces the push felt from big rigs even more. I think if you want to get rid of all that push you need to put in a better sway bar at the back.
2011 Winnebago Aspect 28B on Ford E-450 chassis 29.7 ft long on a 200 inch wheel base.
Replaced front and rear Aniti Sway Bars made a hugh improvement on the sway back and forth NOT up and down...
Next up replaced the stock shocks with the Koni's FDS helped on the rear for the slam over cracks and bridge joints, Absolutely NO help for the front-end dive when hitting dips in the road. (should have went with Bilstein's)
Next up installed the Safe-T-Plus Steering stabilizer , Absolutely no help in the being pushed by semi's passing !
Had a very highly recommended shop do an alignment and final adjustment on the Steering stabilizer, they installed the bushings and set caster from 4.0 Left to 4.2 Left 4.1 Right to 5.0 Right
At the same time they installed the rear Trac Bar.
I didn't get to test drive to see the difference after each one was done.
Soooo I still get pushed by a passing semi, but I instantly felt the difference in the rear NOT wagging the tail tho and also going into corners noticed it was more stiff / solid felling which is good !.
I noticed NO difference in the front end alignment afterwards.
The tech tried to say I would of had the inside left front tire wear and outside right tire wear had I NOT had the alignment done.
(When I called and made the appointment I mentioned I had just replaced the tires)..
Once up there and the alignment work was done and when he made the comment about the tire wear , I told him I had at least 4,000 miles on the tires, and there is NO tire wear , feathered or cupped he had the OH $&*^ look on his face.
He lost all credibility to me on that comment !
We left the shop and drove on up to Seattle and back home to Sacramento , and now I have feathering on the front tires !
Don't know what the magic thing to do to help with the being pushed by semi's or other large vehicles.. In reality and/or physics they are bigger and push allot more air then we do so they are going win every time.
I feel the Anti Sway Bars and the rear Trac Bar helped the most ...
