Except for the fact that it matches what the certification label means on each and every RV, regardless of price and regardless of what your manual says or doesn't say. The label itself means it is designed and meets standards for ONLY temporary housing. You CANNOT build an RV, and sell it to the public, without the certification label.
There is no legal requirement for an RVIA certification of any RV. RVIA certification is available only to RVIA members, and not all RV manufacturers choose to participate. All RV's do of course, have to meet the pertinent federal DOT, NFPA, and ANSI standards, and/or the equivalent Canadian standards if manufactured or offered for sale there.
