The quote I got to reseal our rubber roof on our 2004 Fleetwood 26Q was in the same neighborhood of the 1300.00 stated above. As I was leaving the establishment I was approached by one of the techs that offered to do the work on the side for 500.00 which includes removal of old sealant and parts.
By parts I mean replacing one of the vent covers, adding two vent covers (the ones that go over the existing vent covers)and replacing broken gutter spouts. I took him up on his offer. He comes by in a couple of weeks to do the work.
I thought the price I was quoted was steep so I was planning on doing the work myself but then I got to thinking, what if I tear the rubber roof while trying to remove the old gunk?!
Does 500.00 sound like a good deal? This is my first time having the RV resealed so I didn't know what to expect price-wise.
