Maybe... But golf cart batteries in general are probably more reliable than 12vs in the first place. Far more robust construction. Id take my chances with 2 6vs and enjoy extra capacity, and trust them in harsher conditions than conventional "deep cycle" 12s. However, a trojan or lifeline branded battery of either type would surely be dependable and the winner over the cheaper of either kind.
