MotorHome Magazine put out a list, voted on by their readers, and said "Empire" was the best. If and when I purchase a new one it will probably be with Empire.
I really do like and appreciate Camping World, and would find it difficult being without them, I buy as much as I can from them.
I've used two covers from Empire Covers. I recommend the higher quality Premier Cover over the ProTech cover. It's more $$$ but will protect and last longer. I'm trying out the Premier Cover now and really like it so far.
Here's my video review of the Premier Cover - eric1514Explorer

I have been fortunate to have always had available inside storage but I have always wondered about covers like are being discussed on this thread.
My question: once you put the cover on (assuming for the winter season) do you just not exercise the generator all winter? Do you not fire up the vehicle engine during that period? Just curious.
In my case, it's not difficult to uncover the engine compartment and use the hood to hold back the cover. After carefully making sure the exhaust pipe is clear, I can run the engine. Same with the generator. I use the hatch cover to hold back the cover and then I exercise the generator. Very simple.
I never run the fridge and you need to be very, very careful if you want to run the furnace. I have rarely done either. My coach is always plugged to shore and I use an electric heater to keep the inside above freezing, never the furnace. - PSWExplorerI have been fortunate to have always had available inside storage but I have always wondered about covers like are being discussed on this thread.

- CrabbypattyExplorerI didnt cover it the first few years and it took much longer to clean up in the spring. Now after winterizing, I wash wax it then cover it. DF cleans the inside and we just leave a one vent cracked open. Its ready to go when we uncover it and its protected from the elements.
- lowreyfarrisExplorerI use the Adco designer cover and really like it. My last RV was 28' and the cover was made for RV's up to 32' so the extra material caused the wind to whip around a bit and rip in some spots. But the RV was 7 years old when I sold it, and it looked brand new. None of the decals were faded, cracked, or peeling. On that RV, the cover lasted about 3 years before I replaced it both times. My new RV is 31' and the same cover fits it much more snugly. I expect it will last longer. I think they are well worth the money even if I have to replace it every few year. I ordered my 3rd one from camping world a couple of months ago when they were running a 1 day only Adco sale. I got it at about half price.
I chose the Adco designer for a couple of reasons. First, the material on the sides is soft enough it won't scuff up my RV. Second, there are vents near the roof to keep mildew from growing.
It is a little work to get it on, mainly carrying it up the ladder. I have got my routine down now. I can it on in about 20 minutes, and off in 5. - pauldubExplorerMine looks very much like a tall carport with a metal roof. Fairly inexpensive, very long lasting, and protects the moho very well.
- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerI've found pitching those blue tarps over the roof with a center line to prevent water pooling works best for me. Cheap and water proof but looks like ass.

My ADCO cover today looks like Charlie Chaplin's pants, with 30+ patches (very poor material)
Before storing indoors, I used several ADCOs, and in windy Kansas, Charlie was here too! I also found that after 3 years, the sun exposed parts suffered and became very fragile. But if I had to store outdoors, I would still cover. They're a bugger to get off and on for a large RV though.
