- As mentioned, Game Farm Wilderness Park in Auburn is nice, the KOA is ok but it's right off a busy road in an industrial area. It's probably your best bet if you want to take mass transit into Seattle as was mentioned. I really like Tolt MacDonald Park in Carnation, about a 45 minute drive from Seattle. There are wineries in the area to see, Snoqualmie Falls and the Snoqualmie Casino a short distance away.

That was Lake Pleasant. - Devonm2012ExplorerWe were there last year and the only place we will ever stay when in that area is the park in Bothel, WA. It is AMAZING! Close, quiet, great staff, etc. Highly recommend it.
- J-RoosterExplorerSeattle KOA Kampground, 5801 S. 212th St. Kent, WA., Phone 253-872-8652, email: seattlekoa@racpack.com Karen is the manager and my daughter Michelle is the asst. mgr. Downtown Seattle is not motorhome or big truck friendly! There is a size limit (sorry I can't remember) to the length of vehicle allowed in downtown Seattle and no combination vehicles whatsoever are allowed downtown. I worked for a foodservice delivery company and we were only allowed to drive a 20' box truck into that area. Just out of downtown are the two stadiums and your allowed to bring a MH in there to tailgate and visit. I suggest staying at the KOA and taking a bus (the bus stops right in front of the KOA) to near Sea/Tac airport, a few miles away (Hwy518 @ Hwy.99) and take the rail system to downtown or take the bus from KOA to downtown Kent a few miles away and take Amtrack Train to the King Street Station (downtown next to the stadiums) Good Luck in whatever you choose.
- dennis1ExplorerAlso you could take in the Seattle Mariners Baseball game and see SAFECO Field. Bus 150 would take you right next to Safeco from KOA. Only is you like Baseball and a losing team.
- dennis1ExplorerI not sure you want to take the Ferry from Bainbridge Island. You are coming from Eastern Washington. You would have to go around Hood Canal about 2 hour extra drive to get to Bainbridge Island ferry terminal. It would be a nice to be west of Seattle on the Olympic Penninsula but not worth the ride, unless you are there already.
- mowermechExplorerCheck out the RV parks in Poulsbo. To visit Seattle, just drive down to the Bainbridge ferry, park the car. walk onto the ferry, enjoy the cruise across the bay, and take the bus from the ferry terminal to wherever you want to go in downtown.
DO NOT take the RV on the ferry! It is expensive! Go to Tacoma, take Hwy 16 over the Narrows Bridge, and drive to Poulsbo.
Years ago, DW had a contract at Harborview Hospital. The RV parks at Poulsbo were the most convenient and had the least obnoxious rules. - jvann1ExplorerYou might try Game Farm Park in Auburn, is only a short ways out of Seattle and feels like you are in the country, not the city. You can check the reports on RV park reviews.
- dennis1ExplorerI have a suggestion. Use KOA in Kent. Walk about 3 blocks from the KOA or have them drop you off near to bus stop and take Metro Bus to Seattle. It's about a 45 minutes bus ride about $2 or less per person. Bus will take you real near the Pike Place market.
Dennis - ScottGNomadLake Pleasant. Nice park and easy access to the freeway but you'll have to drive about 20 minutes to Seattle.
