Hard water can completely plug your plumbing system, particularly the check valves. It is so bad where I live that every couple years we have to drain our 50 gallon hot water tank and vacuum the white calcium sediment off the bottom of the tank. If we don't do the the tank elements quit heating the water. I had similiar sediments in my RVs system. A Flow Pur Mark 8000 and some valve replacement solved all my problems. Brought it straight from the factory. They are RVers too!
