Safari Serengeti DP - Any Opinions?

Local private seller has one of these on craigslist. 34 foot class A with a 300 hp Cummins. For some reason, I just liked the looks of this rig. Hits all our wishlist items except a slide-out.

Any opinions about aluminum/stainless construction instead of fiberglass? I wonder about corrosion in a close-to-salt-water environment I'd be storing it in.

    Magnum chassis was probably what he has-- Safari's in-house brand.

    If you get more information, feel free to post or Private Message. As you can see we are very familiar with the 1997 Safari Sahara-- just got back from a 5000+ mile trip this summer.

    1996. Not sure of the chassis. I talked to the seller, I think he said something that started with M. (I know, I'm a rube).

    It may be underpowered if you are going up grades above 5%. The looks are good but as you said no slide, which is needed at least in the galley area.
