Safe-t-Plus

OK, we are going to add the stabilizer. Where's the best place to buy it? I'll have it delivered to my local mechanic for the install.
  • I'm probably going to have mine installed at the Winnebago rally in a couple of weeks, unless I spend all my money before I get to their booth :)
  • Look at Amazon, and an internet google search. Anywhere from $300-$500.

I put on a Blue-OX Tru-Center not a Safe-T-Steer. The reason at the time is I really like the ability to "Re-Center" From the driver's seat when needed.

Today Safe-T-Steer offers that as an option if I'm not mistaken. And it is a very good product so enjoy it.

How I did it..... Well... My dealer sold and installed. Today I'd likely shop around some but Today I have a better dealer (he shops around for me).

So I'm going to tell you about my Trac Bar (By the way I highly recommend Trac Barsm also called PanHard bars)

I called our local (to the campground I'm in) RVGIRL (That is her license plate) Rachal.. She's a Mobile RV service Technician and as it happens a darn good one.. Among other things she and I think alike on many items.

She obtained the Track Bar of my choice.. And installed it, Very professional. ON SITE.. Did not even need to turn the ignition key (Well I did but part of the install involved operating the leveling jacks and on my RIG that takes the key).
  • We had the Good Sam membership when we were checking prices and that gave us a discount at camping world (10% I think) and they also happened to have it on sale. So, we purchased and had installed there and saved a couple hundred dollars. We did the Saf-T-Plus .
