scan guage

Question

I have read all the post on scan guage. I have a SG that I used on my class C Ford.. I now have a 2000 Class A Holiday Rambler On a Ford F53 chassis. I can not find a port to plug the SG into. Does the Ford F53 have a diagnostic port, if so where is it.

should be under the dash on either side of the steering column. might have a cover on it so look hard.

You might have to remove a piece or two of the lower steering column shroud in order to find it.

From what I remember it is down on the brake pedal assembly. Either left or right side, i can't remember?

By law, they must have one, It is possible that some previous owner may have removed it, but that would have been a large job. You might be able to look up the manual on the internet and get the exact location.

Right side of steering column. Has a cover on it and is mounted vertically not horizontal like a cars. Hard to find, but it's there.
