Short Class A with no toad?

Does anyone here have a short Class A and not tow a toad? I am looking at a 33 foot class A and debating if I need to factor in a toad. I am used to driving big trucks and used to have a diesel pusher so I am thinking I will be fine but want to get everyones thoughts on the topic. Thanks.

  • our first MH was a 25' class a. we managed without a toad for 15-yrs. that required a bit of extra planning in terms of supplies and the like and breaking camp to sightsee but we managed. traded that for a 35' class a. ran that with no toad for 3-yrs. the major problem was parking away from camp. that was more difficult. once we had a toad i saw the light and kicked myself for doing without for so long. that was 2003 and i feel the same. a toad make the trips so much easier and enjoyable.
  • I do not go anywhere with out one of my toads.
Even at my rig's 30 foot length, it is diffult to visit out of the way places. Many times we will make day trips to save miles and dollars using the toad.
  • Do you want to drive around the campground area without the MH? Or to be “campsite” bound?
