- jeeperdude10ExplorerI had an issue with my slide as well...bottom would move a bit, but top would not-like something in the way. What I found that worked on mine is on the slide awning (topper), the white plastic ring that looks similar to the manual awning deployment mechanism (has like a "T"bone shaped end). Well mine was loose and cock-eyed, preventing slide from opening, I straightened it and screwed down the set screw. ALL IS WELL. I am told that this is to "stop" the topper on retracting....little did I know it would also prevent from deploying.
Good luck. - Vet_ManExplorerSometimes the gaskets sticks, give it a little help as richardwise said. Next take it back to dealer. Look up on top and all around to make sure nothing it in its way.
- richardwiseExplorerTry pushing out on top of slide when opening. That may work, had to do that on a TT I had. Bottom, where mechanism is, will start to move and top doesn't, causing a bind. Hope this helps.
