Slide out Battery Trays - Who has installed them?

My batteries are 2 Group 27 that are in a storage bay set in width wise. It is a job to maintain and check battery water levels as they have to be removed from compartment to do this. Any of you e...

Several of us here have done some kind of battery compartment/slides modifications. Check Kwikee for battery trays as well as MorRyde.

I was able to take the OEM tray and put it on Heavy Duty Double Extension drawer slides from Home Depot. Others have used similar slides to support existing trays, or have made tray bases from plywood.

Lots of possibilities. Can you post a pic of the area you want to work on?
